About	This is the picture of a popular politician in S.India Mr.EVKS Elangovan. A simple and easily approchable person, which is very rare especially in India. Shot in available light. In the background the half hidden picture behind him is of the late former Prime Minister Sri Rajiv Gandhi. The reason to choose half light with such contrast is to convey that the party 'Congress' which is now in dark and has a bright future if a great leader like Rajiv Gandhi emerges.

This is an excellent portrait, Bhaskar!
My initial reaction on seeing this was the same as the others, namely wishing that the other side of the persons' face was also illuminated sufficiently to balance the other half of the face. That was until I read your remarks again. The ambient light has brought out the facial characteristics brilliantly. Well done!

This is a good effort overall, wish there was a bit more light on his left side, so one can see his eye bit better.
