Hi Karen. You were so lucky to get to make this shot... never saw such for real. This one is beautiful, with the dear looking at you, caught by surprise. Great composition and lightning here, I like the unsharp grass in the forground, it drives all the attention to the dear! My best regards,

This is excellent Karen-- the point of focus is right on, and the out of focus grass in the foreground is just right. Nicely done. I see you're using a Nikon D-100-- is it and the lenses new? I'm curious about how you like it, and it's ease of use?
