Good composition with good stop action of the rider...the motion is caught in her surroundings...color is good and a pleasant diagonal caught as well

Wow... another person from PG?! Amazing how small a world it is here on the net. And yes... there are some REALLY great trails out there around Pidherny. This photo was taken at a race that was put on by some local enthusiasts who do a lot of the trail building out in that neck of the woods. And there has been a LOT of trail building going on out there this year, nearly doubling the amount of trail from last season. Lots of shore-style stunts and some frighteningly big drops.
I liked your riding shots, and I can sympathize with you about the scanner. I tried using mine to upload shots from as well, but have since resorted to just getting the negatives scanned at the time of developing. Its a few bucks a roll, but I think its worth it for the results.

I was reading your about and saw "pidherny" and thought... hey I used to ride there in prince george... this must be a different one. But, nope, you're from PG! I used to live there in 99... lots of great riding around. Love what you've done with this... the panning is nice to blur the bg... looks like a flash to freeze her in the frame?? Anyways, I'm off to check out your portfolio... I've got some riding/ stunt shots from Calgary if you want to check them out!
