Outstanding! One of the best shots of the lights I have seen. I can just imagine myself sitting next to you staring in amazement at this natural phenomena. Great composition, color and sense of place.

The colours, the mist, the dock... everything is so pleasing to the eye here! The dock feels a little off to me... like it was cut and pasted into the scene. Either way, the final shot here is magic! Do you remember how long you had the shutter open for? I am still waiting for a good shot of the northern lights!

Great picture Chris
How do you like shooting with the Canon 10D? I've been trying to compare digital SLR performance in low light, but there just isn't that much information to read. They all work great in daylight, but nighttime is another story. From what I can see, the 10D performs quite well. I'd like to here your opinion. Thanks, Ray

This is wonderful, so dreamy. The aurora borealis is something I dream of seeing and shooting, maybe one day. This is a superb shot, as are so many of your photographs, well done. ...It's rarely I ever give straight 7's!
