Rooms are infinitely interesting. It is like a mode of portraiture, a look inside the life of a person, and maybe the person. Offhand, this looks very cozy! I would really enjoy a room like this. ...aah!...existe outro pormenor bastante interessante nesta imagem!...`e precisamente o efeito das costas de um acento do sofa', onde se ve perfeitamente as "machucagem" do encosto. "La' ficou a pista"!...como tambem interessante esta' a pessoa sentada mais aquem e onde se ve parte do corpo e a mao a apoiar-se no seu lado direito "".
`E tudo o que se chama uma ciencia bem aproveitada...justamente por quem sabe e pensa naquilo que vai fazer. A fotografia de facto tem coisas maravilhosas que muitas vezes...nem os fotografos dao por elas `a primeira vista. Temos por exemplo uma foto do nosso amigo T Glow, que so' reparou no "efeito"... porque eu o chamei `a atencao para o facto!...na agua a sensacao do que parecia um cavalo a cavalgar sobre o mar. Magnifico a fotografia! *

Posso entrar se faz favor?...Nao tinha passado por aqui ainda, e neste momento deparo-me com mais esta ciencia fotografica.
Magnifico amigo Jorge! Ate' dispensa quaquer comentario! A luz dentro e fora...foram muitissimo bem ajustadas, o que da' um grande impacto aos quadros na parede!...e impressiona-me a cena do lado de fora! Os predios `e outro quadro a juntar aos que estao dentro!...ate' parece mesmo, quererem entrarem dentro de casa sem pedirem licenca.
Belissimo disparo sem duvida alguma! Vai para uma das minhas favoritas, que entretanto me esqueco de outras obras maravilhosas que voce ja' possui aqui nesta pagina.

Hi Jorge.
Its not important at all. My point is quite simple. Next time you shoot something similar. pay a little attention, just half a second, to see if the borders of your images unite with the rest. Don't spend more then 0.5% of your time to this ofcourse. Mostly it doesn't matter. But in this case, i guess it could slightly improve your image. Its already good. Please, don't get me wrong. Its a very very minor insignificant detail.
Im not living in CA, and neither an official student of photography. I wish i was. I'll be looking to combine my studies with some time abroad but so far i haven't advanced enough. I'm an animation student in The netherlands, europe. I've done a half year course in B&W photography and continued with increasing speed by myselve. Shot a little over a 6000 images so far. Digital helps me a lot with cutting cost and not be shy with the shutter. Apart from that i comment on other people's pictures a lot as well for fun and perhaps even fresh perspectives. FOr example, i'd never dare take a shot like you did. I might feel confident after having seen it can turn out quite well. You made excellent use of you window, with a nice scene outside, and a nice scene inside. I try to figure out what makes your image charming and learn something in the process.

Ill try to be more specific.
Your lightning is perfect i think. BOth outside as inside look very natural within this extreme. BOth seem to be in focus. A job well done. What i meant was. The very edges of this image. If you look at them, you see on the right a half frame of a photo. On the downright corner a hand and partial body. The bottem itself is quite clear. the left side contains a slight cut from the window. the top features the very dark black part of the corner in your room.

That's quite a comfortable corner you have there. I like the fact that you shot a scene where people live, instead of harsh geometry and slick lines. The edges if the frame are kind of chaotic, its the only comment i have. Apart from that i'ts a very nice image, even for people who never saw you, or your place. In chaotic scene's like this with very much to see, keeping the edges of the frame organised helps the image sometimes.

na verdade você bem captou a essência de tudo que disse nas três críticas aos céus! Somos nós que fazemos a imagem da nossa mente... isso que nos diferencia... damos a força... damos o verde hipotético... mas temos a infinita magia e riqueza dos poucos amigos. De além mar.... junto ao sentimento que une aos que tem a amizade .... dou em cada imagem meu amigo.. aquilo que de mais belo existe em mim... o amor.... já que não o tenho na vida... nas cores o projeto! na foto o realizo! Não sei se um dia teremos prazer de nos encontrarmos... mas eternamente serei seu amigo. T.

obrigada por me responder : finalmente encontrei outra pessoa que diz musica erudita(como eu a designo) e gosto muito do Roscoe Michel que considero um grande compositor e um grande musico e que ali por chicago terá dado nascença ao Art Ensemble of Chicago, para mim o jazz passa a ser Musica a partir talves do free, para traz digam o q quiserem não passou de musica de dança.
gosto muito tb do Nick Cave
acredite que me alegra encontrr alguem que me faz pensar este gosta de Musica!!!!!
BTW Rothko nunca foi um ointor abstracto.
quanto ás cores em pintura não há cores feias pode é haver uma má relaçoao das cores, gosto de todas!!

Olá Jorge, quando vi a foto achei-a fabulástica e cheia de charme, quando li a descrição ainda a achei melhor, afinal é a casa de todos os dias, cheia de momentos, sons e lembranças que fazem a tua vida. Um ambiente de requinte.

Jorge :i agree about abstract painting.
there is a thing in my photos they are not necessarely abstracts, some of them we see perfectly a long skirt a shoe a hand , etc.
ithere is a practical reason for calling abstract , when i didnt people were agressive satyng they dontunderstand what is that ...so now people can look and say your "abstract" have an elegant woman in it with elegant boot whatsoever----
