About Rear fender and barbed wire on a pickup truck. I spotted this abandoned truck in a small town in cattle country and went back to shoot the rust/patina. A post, ?Apache? and ?Way Out West #1" are of this same truck.

Lovely, muted colors augment an interesting abstract. I almost wish for greater DOF as the barbed wire toward the edges starts to become soft, and my eye seems to want to see all of the wire sharp, but this is entirely subjective opinion. As always, well done.

Harlan, What an image, really has a look, and yhere is a word for it and it escapes me! Some thing about the almost sun setty colors in the soft tone. I think of it about 2AM tonight! The barbed wire adds a lot to the image in my opinion. Marvelous find. Great stuff!

beautiful dreamy color...

the comp is very good although I am curious as to what it would look like if the barb wire cross (3 of 3) in the upper-right corner were brought further into the frame.

Interesting juxtaposition of harsh barbed wire and soft, muted colors. I love the way the colors are layered, each showing through the other in different places. Good eye for detail and cool shot!
