Thanks to all who have taken time to view this image and comment! I'm truly overwhelmed at the response. Quite honestly, I preferred the Reeds at Sunset image I posted today over this one, but I guess that goes to show that I need to learn public appeal over personal preference.
For those of you who were honest enough to mention the lack of quality, I thank you. My camera is a bottom of the line, no frills digital and even though I set my camera to high and save in Photoshop on high, I still have a problem with losing some clarity. (compression? I'm not sure) For those of you who didn't say anything but good things, I thank you for your grace.
Still have lots to learn and I hope that as my skills improve, so will the images.

Hi Joann, another great sky...are you using a tripod?...I see your getting a lot of comments on your photos about the overall sharpness..maybe it's camera movement in low light??...or how are you resizing your photos to submit them here? If your resizing in Adobe Photoshop, be sure you slide the image quality scale to High or Max before you save...Looks like your losing image quality...If your camera is set to HIGH, you should be getting better quality....You have a good eye..Regards, Bill C.

The colours are very nice but there seems to be some kind of 'texture' to the overall picture which I find a little uncomfortable. Perhaps it's just a problem with the scan, perhaps it's a deliberate technique which just doesn't appeal to my taste, I don't know. I would probably like it a little softer, myself. Please don't get me wrong, I think it's a wonderful picture, there's just a little something which 'niggles' me a bit.
