What I love about this series that it is so sweet and child-like...and your dedications are lovely....in this series you have an eye for the simple and beautiful, the way a child might be...adults may find it hard to strip away all their prejudices and just enjoy this sweet series, it's hard to do because we're looking for labels to apply. That's the adult way :) But what you do here is purposeful and I think it was a great idea. Let the academics battle out some irrelevant artistic points. I like this series because it makes me feel good. :) d

interesting minimalism, that spot flies in the air...looks like sun and the moon at the same time...

This series is one of my favourite works from you. It always reminded me a poem by a chemistry/physics teacher and science historian, Prof. Rómulo de Carvalho, know in poetry as António Gedeão

Pedra Filosofal

Eles não sabem que o sonho
é uma constante da vida
tão concreta e definida
como outra coisa qualquer,
como esta pedra cinzenta
em que me sento e descanso,
como este ribeiro manso
em serenos sobressaltos,
como estes pinheiros altos
que em verde e oiro se agitam,
como estas aves que gritam
em bebedeiras de azul.

eles não sabem que o sonho
é vinho, é espuma, é fermento,
bichinho álacre e sedento,
de focinho pontiagudo,
que fossa através de tudo
num perpétuo movimento.

Eles não sabem que o sonho
é tela, é cor, é pincel,
base, fuste, capitel,
arco em ogiva, vitral,
pináculo de catedral,
contraponto, sinfonia,
máscara grega, magia,
que é retorta de alquimista,
mapa do mundo distante,
rosa-dos-ventos, Infante,
caravela quinhentista,
que é cabo da Boa Esperança,
ouro, canela, marfim,
florete de espadachim,
bastidor, passo de dança,
Colombina e Arlequim,
passarola voadora,
pára-raios, locomotiva,
barco de proa festiva,
alto-forno, geradora,
cisão do átomo, radar,
ultra-som, televisão,
desembarque em foguetão
na superfície lunar.

Eles não sabem, nem sonham,
que o sonho comanda a vida,
que sempre que um homem sonha
o mundo pula e avança
como bola colorida
entre as mãos de uma criança.

Lowell,

the title reminds me of the song...I will have it in my head for the rest of the day...

I like this a lot - the color of this is always a joy to me...

This obscure yellow baloon makes one imgine many many different thoughts. In Japan people draw the moon as yellow ball and believed a rabit lives in the moon.So at first my impression is the moon and someone in it visible.Apart from this I can say very nice movement from left to right here and beautiful colors as well.
