This is really beautiful Jim. I love the tight crop and wonderful saturation and detail. Exquisite capture. Thanks for your comment on my butterfly pic - flowers and butterflies are a new venture for me, but pictures like yours inspire me to explore.

Jim this is an excellent image...the color of the flower is striking...and I love how it creates a diagonal line that allows the viewer to land on the butterfly...the butterfly is excellent and the blue has an irridescent quality that you have captured well...my only suggestion is to crop a bit tighter on the right so the green leaf does not dominate the picture...while I love a bit of green it does tend to pull my eye ...I rather stay focused on the butterfly and flower...beautiful

Superb shot Jim. I really like the diagonal composition of the butterfly. I have been trying for some time to get a shot of this species. It seems around here they never rest and spread their wings. They are always feeding and flapping, never sit still. You have given me hope, thanks.
