I think it would be a good idea to have the lighting more from the front. IMO this shot calls for more contrast, but I'm not sure you can really increase it here, because you'd probably lose all details on the left side of the face, and the right side would become too hot. A more evenly lit face would solve it I think.

Another thing is, PS offers several methods of B&W conversion, some of which are more effective than others. Which one do you use?
