Again very good. The most impresing thing is the ground 'horizon' line that has a very strong contrast of tones... so bright on fog and so dark the ground... it is beautiful. Also the two trees looks very nice, especialy the left one, from the foggy bottom to the very black and sharp top. Very nice!

you are lucky to get this.. specially when it is winter where you are in Brazil. Where exactly is this in Brazil, are you around the edge of a rainforest. Have you been to a rainforest? i would bet you would have a lot and lots more to shoot. great work.. keep it up.

That T-Tree is your signature. my friend... Excellent work, I like so much the various depth planes and the progressive haze. Absolutely perfect. Also in B/W it has to be really fantastic (even if for USEfilm it would be "less photogenic"). Ciao !!! Cris.-

My critiques may appear stereotype, too, but it is also a problem of using a language which is not my motherlanguage. Sorry for that fact.

T Glow, I've looked at and rated many of your images (some favorably, others not so favorably) and find this one to be especially excellent: multilayered; balanced; interesting; beautiful. And I give this image top ranks because of it's merit, not because I belong to some exclusive clique, contrary to Thos Alamo's contentions. However, Thos' words, harsh as they may be, do reflect an ongoing pattern I also see from time to time on every photo site like Usefilm. I don't complain because that is human nature, and because of the wide diversity of photographic sensibilities seen here. I must say, though, that Don Loseke's assessment is borderline childish. Again, human nature. After all, it's only a game. :) Peace all.
By the way, did I mention how stunning your image is?

Cheers. Craig

In reading comments made by one so called member I think he must have a burr under his saddle. He does not have any pictures posted so we cannot see just how bad his pictures really are. Maybe he is just jealous of such great work as you do. Don't worry about fellows like that, they just want to stir up trouble. This is a wonderfull composition and colors. Shows great depth. Don.

Marilia, I'm sure it was a harmless oversight on your part (after all, it is a very well known piece of music), but credit where credit is due. I wish to give compliment the composer of the wonderful song/poem you posted.

Have seen too many of such "style" of photography from you lately. Did not find this one particularly outstanding in anyway. Some of your other works are quite good. I took some time to view through a large amount of photos from Usefilm's members. Some are not as good as yours, some are just as good, and some are better.
So I was curious about your "popularity" as a "hot/top" photographer and the rave reviews you got. I did an analysis about your approach as a "popular" photographer in Usefilm. The following is a summary of the findings.
In the last 6 days from 30 July to 4 August 2003, you took precious time to post the following numbers of critiques:
4 August - 34 critiques (no submission from you on this day) 3 August - 45 critiques 2 August - 56 critiques 1 August - 29 critiques (no submission from you on this day) 31 July - 68 critiques 30 July - 69 critiques
The majority of these "critques" are short and stereotype. Many are to a "same group" of members.
So is this the golden formula --- give good critiques/ratings and get good critiques/ratings? How many of these critiques/ratings you received in return really reflect the excellence of your work, or are they a mere gesture of a returned favour/goodwill?
Should members be forced-fed on a diet of "hot/top" photographs monopolised by you and your group of like-minded friends who readily give top ratings to all and sundry among yourselves? Be considerate, give other members a chance to view the numerous excellent works that were not seen because of such unethical mob manipulation of ratings.
Nothing personal Mr T Glow, just some facts and a friendly advice. I know you and your like-minded friends still cherish similar moments in Photosig before the establishment tightened the ropes and shattered those beautiful dreams. Do not to be obsessed with such "ego trips".
Did not rate this piece of "work" from you, do not want to upset the high rating :). Best regards.

Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here Here comes the sun, Here comes the sun, and I say It's all right
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
