great use of light and shadow. the large white space is nicely contoured by the steps. what would your composition look like w/o the fence on the bottom of this image? since there is no top to the staircase in frame, might it be even more abstract?

Good lighting, but no depth in picture, didn't capture a great angle of the staircase. Could have added more 3D and effect of a staircase with still the shadows. To straightforward.
