Since the riders are the subject of the photo its disappointing that they're blurry. I'd rather the background blurred with a pan and the riders in sharp focus. While your photo gets the point accross, quite frankly its a simple thing to point at a moving object and hope for the best. I think a pan would show more photographer skill and create a more powerful image. With that said.. I have yet to take a successful shot of bikers even after many tries, so take my comments lightly and have fun. :) Cheers, Mark
