Andrew, this is wonderful. I like the fact of having nothing to focus on. I wanted to take it all in at once. Very peaceful, other worldly feel to it.

without speaking without silence (some zen words to it :) it does not need any object as it is the object and as long as your eyes are wandering you cannot see its essence : maybe there was a hobbit taking a pic of some strange one-eyed monster with an even stranger object close to its face :)

WOW andrew, this is a great shot. Don't know about the hobbits, not to familiar with them, but looks like they might live there. the toning really works here, I would like to see the original, but I bet this is the best of the two. Nice job ! jimc

I completely agree, Elangovan. You stated it exactly right. My objective, and thus the title, was to portray myriad intimate spaces found within a small patch of natural landscape that, to me, resemble some of the Japanese Zen gardens I've visited over the years. Only Zen gardens are meticulously groomed and controlled by people. This image is part of the whole that includes the alpine realms of Cascade Pass- completely nature made. The subject is not necessarily the whole, but the spaces you find in the whole. Peace.

Hmmm... This is a picture with nice tones. My problem is (exactly, its just my problem), I m not able to get a subject here. When I looked the image at first, literally my eyes were going all around and not a single thing stopped my eye... Maybe, thats what you wanted anyway. Just thot let me tell how I felt when I looked this image.
Elangs.

I like the clouds\fog in the background of the photo. Reminds me of the movie Lord of the rings!!!

Beautiful intricate landscape. I like challenging images like this one. It's well done and refreshing. glad you removed the color which keeps with the overall feeling. I did one similiar in infrared called Palm Tree Graveyard you might like. Gil
