Different - very original composition. The sunlight gives a good contrast... personaly I think the area that 'hit' the sunlight is little bit small in the generally darkness of the background, however the originality of your photo is very nice.

I like the lighting onn the 2 post & the cans. Good composition also with the sand beach & ocean.

Nice colors, focus and DOF. For my eye, the garbage cans are quite distracting and tend to take away from the ambience. I thing I would crop out both cand and see what the composition would look like.
