Hi, Toini. I'm not sure exactly why I like this shot, but I do. It's definitely a little more dramatic than you're run-of-the-mill portrait. I've lately become convinced that some of the greatest portrait shots are of subjects who have a little of the theatrical or dramatic in them. The angle is great, not to mention DOF. The grainy effect is also very appealing. Great and original shot.
