I like this too. Apt title and great perspective. Good choice of DOF but a little more defenition could have improved it.

I always opt straight for wide open if I can for limited DOF but after viewing my recent film I may take this approach a little more carefully. It's difficult to guage in camera how the print blur will truely come out.

Great shot though - You can just feel the heat!

I like this one a lot. In difficult light, your subject is a bit hot in places, and his (her?) hair is a tad underexposed. With those nits aside, your tight composition and DOF make this stand above many other shots of this nature. Keep at it! Great eye.
