About I was scouting out another possible shoot location when I came across this homeless person. What bothered me was how they were totally covered up and perfectly still. These are the kind of stories you read about where someone is murdered but not found for days. This bench was away from the main park area and because they are totally covered up if they are dead, nobody would know until they started to smell or the animals started getting to them because the people would just think they are sleeping.

Times are tough and I don't see them getting much better anytime soon Paul. I think most of the homeless head for shelters or overpasses when rains. But we haven't had much of that here in California for the past few years.

Thanks Art. I think if society doesn't change soon we are in deep trouble.

It is sad Jill but I have found out that a person must want to make a change in their life for the better, you cannot make them.

Thank you Paul. It seems like no matter which city you go too, you can find homeless / street people in that city somewhere. It's really tragic.

Thank you Riny. It was really weird. I took a shot of this person then went and did some additional shooting in the area for about 20 minutes and then took this shot and it didn't look like they had moved at all.

Yes a very touchy subject too Mesut. There are people who are homeless because of circumstances beyond their control and there or others who are homeless because of bad life choices.

Times are tough but at least he/she hasn't had to worry about wet weather for sometime (judging by the dry grass ad bare earth)

So sad that so many have no one to care. An excellent capture that tells a sad but true story.
