About	This photo shows what the engineer saw from his seat in the #4294 Cab Forword 4-8-8-4 steam engine that I posted in February. These are the gages he used to monitor what the train was doing. The handle suspended from the roof is the throttle for speed control, the small brass handle lower center is the air brake control, and the lever to the right is the forword/reverse control.
