I remember one other photograph where a young woman had vert short sleeves around her arms, I think it was a new elan peeping trhough in the early 30' even in semi formal images.

Hi Harry, I am surprised by the short dress length for the 30's. I wonder if that was uncommon to see that much leg back then in formal photographs? Was a very well composed image. Regards! Rob

What a delightful looking young lady in this one Harry, a complete contrast to the last posting. They all seem to have the same thing in common.....none of them smile :) I like this one it has a lovely gentle look to it. Cheers to you my friend.
