Hi Harry, this one is not my Fav. I find the halo effect on the edges to be so distracting that my eye constantly strays from the subject matter at hand. Truthfully I think that if you cropped about a 1/3 of this photo down it could be much stronger from a composition perspective. Then maybe adding a bit more contrast to bring out a bit more drama to this shot. Cheers, Tim

Thanks Vehbi for your expertise on male and female versions. I can acknowledge I have seen a similar bird with 4 of 5 young chicks around, the mother I assume. Best wishes, Harry

...Him, i think Harry. Bcs, his plume colors are so rich and long, specially his tail. I know females have brownish colors. Wonderful nature capture. You are so lucky. :)) I'm sure when i see your capture, there is no.....around. :)) Take care my friend. vehbi.
