Umm. No!! I especially like the landscape to his left and I find the crop to his shoulder a bit too severe.....it was something i had considered.The face has in fact been dodged to the point that on my Imac it looks just right in terms of detail and realism. On my Pc monitor it's another story!Anyway thanks for your always interesting observations.

Hello Tony,
Because of his right elbow it must have been tough on deciding how to compose this very fine and detailed B&W image ... Yes/No? Therefore, what I did (if you don't mind) is place him a bit to the left with a square format, but still allow him space to gaze into with a lot of scenery on the right. Hope you like it as much as I liked the original or I would not have stopped by. I think Luis most of all will agree with me as I have also lightened the contrast to show more detail in this gentleman's face ...
