This story goes about the ‘dispute’ between biologists and theologists. It is about Darwin or God. The image show a seed of the Maple tree. The seed is shaped like a one wing helicopter. Oh, they come in twin-bladed versions too.
Now I found it at my house but there is no maple tree around. Where did it come from ? In good weather conditions it may have traveled 100 kilometers or more ?
It is life at a low level, dormant level. Dormant but when exposed to the right conditions it comes alive. At some excavations, seeds of thousands years old have been found and brought to full life again.
The whole grain rice in your cupboard is also dormant life, just like pumpkin-seeds, sunflower-seeds, whole peanuts.
Does it have a soul ? What happens with life when you cook it ?
Now is it the result of evolution ( Darwin ) or intelligent creation ( Theologists ) ?
I think it is the result of both. God is creating by enabling the multiple DNA parameters and then let evolution have a go with it.
This is based on observations at December 2006. I observed how a gold disc send sparks to earth, i.e. alter DNA configurations causing various mutations. Then Evolution can proceed to select the survival of the fittest in given present conditions.

I have same thoughts about "co-operation" between God and evolution; evolution and laws ruling the physical and nature world had to be created by essence of genius, didn't they?
