Beautiful deatil and colour, lovely texture. The "murkiness" gives it an etheral quality. Quintisentially austrlian. Regards, Jacqueline.

Hey right back at ya dear Joanna! :)
I LOVE kookaburras and have so many where I Live. I'm very glad you called your 3 Billy, Bob, Thornton... Hmmm... some"thing" else we have in common! ;-)You must know he is a Leo too I guess... hehe!
(Oh...my Mother used to feed the kookas a little bacon when I was a kid and it didn't seem to disagree with them...)
I'm not around UF all that much. It's such a great surprise to see you here... and thank you for your kind Birthday Wishes and warm praise. CHEERS! Be happy!
Love and Hugs ~ Aniko (or Ani... whatever you prefer...) xox

Hey dear Aniko! This is a fantastic shot! Great colours and clarity - and subject of course!
Great to see you have been posting again - I haven't been around for AGES! Now I just love these fellas - they're my fave! I love the way they laugh :) I had 3 of them that used to visit regularly when I lived in Avalon, NSW - I called them Billy, Bob & Thornton :) I fed them bacon a few times which they loved!! Not sure that was the healthiest thing for them!! It was fun watching them hitting it off the ground to kill it first! (I'm a veggie too!!!)
Hope all's great with you! I'll need to catch up on all your photos. Looking great! I see you're a fellow Leo too! Belated Happy Bday! :)
Big hugs, Jo x

Thank you Shirley. I am fond of kookaburras. They are large birds and there are so many in my area, it's a joy. :)

"Johnny Laughing"... I have not heard that expression and thought Mama would have mentioned it to me. I am glad the kookaburras here are free and wild. I like them very much. Thank you for your kind comments, dear Tibor! Szia: Aniko :)
