On the text at the back of the image it says ( mums handwriting) "........". ? In fact I do not know what is on the back :)
In the album there are a number of these small stamp sized images, about 3x4 cm ( outside format ) . I was not able to remove them to have a look without destroying the photo corners and the album. So be it, anonymous.
More important is what is written at the front size "Gulden". My 2 cents these are the equivalent of a photo we need these days for a passport, in those day it is a discounter price for the poor to enable them to participate in the "business card" world as well. Old times twitter ;) ? The cost is 1 Dutch Guilder. (?)
A discounter price is my feeling. Is there someone able to find how much money that would be compared to a whole bread or so in those days ? Assuming that due to inflation the prices of all goods double every 10 years it would be about 300 Guilder, 150 €. Does not make sense.........
My 3 cents it is the price for the shot and a set of prints, like 10, 20 or ~50 of these stamp sized "tweets".

For documentary reasons I left most spots on the photo as original .
I first cleaned the images with a napkin, but I dont do that anymore. I leave everything on it, including the dna of the people that have touched it so maybe in the future ....
.....remember that this forgotten face could be a close relative of my ancestors ........... and I would not be here without whatever he did had influence on my family ..........
I love this.... I have a book of photos from years dropped... of people I do not know and will never know... yet, they stare at me from ages long past.... Faces thet have life and hope and love and death... glaring from their eyes. People who have lived and died... and are not remembeed for any reason.... Whatever the price/cost... the faces of those forgotten....
