Never thought I would favour more contrast and sharpness in a photo than you dear JD... but it seems I now do! :)
It's a very eye catching image, no doubt because of the contrast of the bare head of the child against the veiled heads of the women has something to do with that.

As you said "Steve Macurry influence"... it reminds me of a very similar photo he took in Kabul, Afganistan... 1992.

Superb timing and composition as always :) Good colours too...
I always find it more difficult to shoot street in colour :)

thanks Saad for taking your time for reworking this piece; very fine, perhaps a tad too contrast for my taste: I'll tell you a secret, high contrast have been a chracterictic of my work but lately I'm changing for a more subtle approach specially if the pciture is color

Sunset, I left this in colour waiting for your BW conversion and simple border :), just kidding
actually due to NG and Steve Macurry influence I think this should be in color; this is a street shot so the lint is just another piece of the puzzle
anyway, your rework is fine as always
PS: are you telling me that if you don't comment many of my pictures is just because they are really a shi...t? :))))

Don't you think the attached is much more 'National Geographic' worthy also and that is a compliment of course? Anyway, I like it alot or I would not have stopped by and I know you know that ...
