Geezzz, Beverly, I'm really spending a lot of time in this portfolio looking at everything.
This photo is absolutely spectacular!! I like everything about it! Please tell me you have a lot of your own work hanging in your home, and that you are perhaps selling or showing your work??
Very nice, Lori :)

Lovely lines and colour saturation Beverly. The diagonal works well but I find the crop of the lower left hand corner leaves me unsatisfied. I wish it just curved back into the frame and disappeared into the depth-of-field (infinity). You have a very good portfolio. Glad I could make a connection with my Southern Cross image. Regards & Happy New Year John

This perspective isn't as interesting as the "spout," but it does show off the detail of the petals and its characteristic curves. Very nice presentation Beverly.

Incredible shot Beverly. I really like the soft lines and wonderfull textures of the petal. 7/7 ! I was not able to rate this one beacause the rating system is not working for this shot. Strange.

Wow! I really love this one, Beverly! A great use of short depth of field, keeping the interesting parts - the edge of the flower, and the veins on the underside nicely focused. It has a very dreamy quality to it, I like the slight gloss on the bottom from the reflected light there. Really beautiful!

Beverly, this is absolutely stunning ! Very simple idea, very difficult to execute well. If I could I'd give this 7's all round !! Keith

The diagonal edge slices through in the most appealing way. I love how it separates the light and dark, and the detailed petal from the OOF back petal. Just wonderful treatment of a calla!

Very nice Beverly. For me, the composition makes this image a winner. The way the edge of the lilly draws my eye from the lower right to the upper left is really effective. Solid work.
