Imageopolis Featured Photo Critique I do love this and agree its an amazing image but i must agree with Saad..it is blown on the high end..however if this is the desired effect than it's all a matter of opinion. Sometimes the greatest masterpieces are in the "mistakes" my friend!

Hi Cathy

Great to hear from you!!!

Yes, we went to Italy and London, and then back home via Perth, for my cousin's wedding, in January....just a quick trip of a bit over three weeks. We were there during the really cold spell....lots of snow, and a couple of blizzards. :) It was great!

When are you heading to Canada and Alaska? I'd love to go there...it's on my list! :) Have a great time...be sure to have plenty of memory cards with you! :) :) :)

Give my regards to Chris!

One of these days, we must meet up in Sydney! We've been talking about it for so long! :)

Keep in touch!

Cheers

Phil

Wow Phillip! Icey. A novel view of the ferris wheel. Congrats on this great shot.
Trev and I (and Matt) are finally escaping this island and are summering in Canada and Alaska. I hope I don't wear my camera out.
Was talking to Chris Perrin he has had severed a tendon in his hand repaired, hope his Shutter finger is OK. Am seeing him this weekend, no doubt the conversation will Include the info that you are posting again. Good to see. CC

Hi Carol

Thank you very much for your comment.

Yes, I couldn't agree more! I, too, wish the man was a bit more to the right! When I was processing the image in PS, I thought of 'moving him over'. :)

Cheers

Hi Saad

Wrong exposure? I'm not sure about that. I used opikVerve Lab's 'Anvil' filter, to make the image 'pop'. I must confess to being pretty happy with the result.

Anyway, I appreciate your opinion and feedback.

Cheers
