Beautiful use of lines, tones and sshadows. The people in the doorway give a great feel of proportion.

Very good lighting and composition. Church seems to have withstood a fire. The chimney shows clearly a brick construction, faced with sandstone panels. Great capture.

Hi, Carole! I DOn't want to discuss about lighting! Really! I want to say "I LIKE VERY MUCH- SURPRISING accent to THE TOWER!It attracts whole attention!" Don't like "flate" photo without shadows, the last helps to understand how and where things take their places. WOnderful sky! Really fine detail -people in the arch! Theank you!
Regards, ALexey

Carole,

Tough shot to get becuase of the very dark shadows, I wish I could see more of the detail of the church. Besides fill flash is there any way to better balance very light to very dark parts of a photo? I know it (fill)would not have changed things in this shot becuase it looks like you where a good distance away. I do like that you got the people in the door arch.

Thank you for sharing
Rich
