The patterns in the landscape are very nice, that alone would make a very good subject. Sad documentary shot, but what I find really disturbing are the ropes around the animals front feet (can't see the back feet) and it's neck. I hate to think what life was like for this poor animal that perhaps this was it's only way out....

If possible, it would be great to go back a little later when the only thing left is skeleton! Still, the image has a strong story line behind it and elicits emotion, making it extremely effective in photography. Excellent work! 7++
