The light through the wings is wonderful. We get cormorants here too, but rarely the light.

Birds love sunbathing. Basking in the full sun, even on hot days, ... We call it 'trancing' as they look like they are in a deep trance. ... Within seconds she would fall into a trance and stay there for almost couple off minutes....;) Wonderfull use of the light with good clears details of the plumage.
