Location City -  The road what passes in front of Loy-Wood..... Illinois
State -  L-IH-NOY
Country - United States   United States
About A little bit of Brookie Street. The center-bottom just shows a tip of Brookie Street. That is the street my house sits on. The road slicing through the photo is US RT 6.(United States Route 6) And the farm house in the mid-distance is the neighbor’s farmhouse. Sunrise and clouds are courtesy of a higher power. Behind the camera is a simple yet educated farm-boy what lives in dead-central Illinois. A wee gift from Bureau (Buh-your-OH[say it quickly]) County, Illinois.

God is clearly a Longhorn Fan (The University of Texas), why else would the sunsets be burnt orange?

I will have to come up to Illinois and travel further south to get some nice shots of the open fields like you have.

Just a bit... this was actually a sunrise. And I do have to tell ya... Chicago is NOT Illinois (L-uh-noy) MM and I visit The City several times a year... and gawk like tourists at how different Chicago is from Flat-land, USA. Ya need to get back here and do some down-state traveling. What happens if you cut Alaska in half? Texas becomes the 3rd largest state... kkekekekekke.... I love that one.....

I have been to Chicago, and it was very nice!

I will have to get a nice Texas Sunset shot and we can compare them then ;)

And glad to know that you do check in on my portfolio, it is slowly but surely building into what I think a solid one.

Hey! Watch it! I don't know if you have ever visited Illinois but I and mine have been to Texas...twice... our sunsets hold their own, young man. Did your fther tell u MM (My wife Mary Margaret) and I have sat with your dad and mom on a few occasions? Once in San Ann and the other in Chicago. I do check on your photos regularly... but, as your father will tell you...I do not comment or reply very often. But I do look. Take care, Jim

Great shot!

Almost as good as Texas sunsets, but not quite.

Keep up the great work!

What an amazing sky. The sky is the light show to which all light shows aspire. Yet another nice one.
