Nick:
Interestingly, sharpening (when I applied it in PS) almost totally destroyed the image so I removed it.
Thanks for adding this thoughtful remark.

And it is a rather strong surf, the way many comics novels would display, Justin. They way the contours and the strict palette evolve on a "drawing" rather than on a completely "photo-realistic" image... this is what attracts my attention most. As if a real world had to be reduced to exactly those few minimalistic elements that still allow immediate regognition of the pattern, the scene of the frame.
I am rather glad to see that there are no oversharpening effects here, as they are quite common in such images of "shapes and patterns". The objects were all caught in their best possible hard reflection of light, yet there is no "stairstep" effect on the contours. Quite a well taken image! Careful exposure is what I see here.
Cheers!
Nick
