Geweldig mooie foto, Diana! De lucht, het water, de reflecties... Ongetwijfeld in het 'echt' (uitvergroot) nog indrukwekkender dan op mijn kleine schermpje.
Vroeger kwam ik vaak op de Wadden, tegenwoordig woon ik er nogal ver vandaan.
Maar als ik jouw foto's zie dan denk ik dat ik er hoognodig weer eens naar toe moet - met m'n camera :)

spectacular location, spectacular cloud formation over the horizon.. each location on earth is unique in its own way.. you happen to be fortunate to be at a location.. not known to tourists.. unlike Grand Canyons here in US.. Here... a location has too many tourists.. and some places are difficult to shoot without people.. in the frame..

On my image "I Have Seen the Light" I did that in photoshop I worked with a couple of the channels and use watercolor filter I don't usually do that type of images but I like to try new things. This is an excellent image like the lighting what a wonderful capture. I like this image a lot.

This is lovely and I can guess that it only hints at the color as it is almost monochromatic except in the upper right.
I understand the crop as you did it but I would suggest moving the horizon up or down.
Perhaps a diptych one with mostly sky and one with mostly land/sea.
