Hi Roby,try using the center focus point, (for fast moving objects) and a high shutter speed (over 250th) to freeze it Also try Shutter Priority, until you get the shot you want and then go to manual and/or play with the fstop. Also maybe a monopod...? Your little daughter is so cute ! .. hug,riny

The very dynamic look and feel gives it a very very good amount of tension, Roby, but I find also the still strong singular details here and there very good. Like for example the small part of the chain right at the lfet of her left arm. There is some visible amount of pixelation in these areas of more details but this doesn't seem to play a big role in the rest of the panned image. The composition is well balanced in that distinct angle and the colors very vivid, which enhances the sense of rapid movement very strongly.
A good one and very interesting for me, now that I post my own tries on motion.

I appreciate, but maybe this gives me is worth more.
I personally believe that photography should not be perfect.
even the pictures of the big magnum are not perfect, or rather they are for their creators.
a photo can be made BIG.
is not the case for my snapshot, taken with my daughter, a little while the left foot is out of the frame and the background could be a small disturbing; the arm and the central part are perfectly crisp and focus .. but it could be better!
would be too easy to make perfect panning.
This is a technique I've used, but I am not a master.. try it...!
if I were I could "create" a perfect shot..

hallo fabrice..
well i remember perfectly that i have prepared the camera in 1/60 sec. with f. 8 in aperture..
but also i have a little shot of flash.. that what makes me feel good is that, indeed to my daughter for this step is familiar, with love .. and above all without use of PS.
this panning is a "natural" ..
maybe not perfect for this!

Oh, I LOVE the motion blurs! The coloring and lighting is so perfect, it really is just simplistic and peaceful- it works so well with the mood and subject of this. I absolutely LOVE it... excellent work :)
