Hi Keith, my eyes could have been tired. I think what I saw was the way the flash hit the spray. The spray had some strange look to it. I hope to catch you here next year too!! Have a great rest of the week.

Thanks Stan. You must have better eyes than me as i cant see any noise. Looked at the original which is cropped also but all i can see is spray. I dont usually get any noise at 400 and very little at 800. Used full manual power with flash at around the 200mm mark and upped the iso to get more speed than the default. Some shots i used 800iso and a few at 1600 without flash. Thanks again. Hope to catch up next year :) Cheers. Keith

Great shot with the exploding water around the surfer. I like the way the flash has lit the water up and good overall exposure. Some noise in this but the action more than makes up for that. Have a great one!!
