Doc ... you are right..!! cropping in square could have done wonder. But the this pic is part of a series. all photos will be in portrait mode and i dont want to break the rythm here. As a stand alone photo... square crop is perfect suggestion. I dont mind cropping it square cause my camera does not allow me to click a square photo even if I previsualize in that way. :)

tha wall at the front is too big Deb, for diminish its impact I'd crop it in square format (I know you consider cropping as a sin:) because it'd fix my view more on the crosses; your approach has an abstract quality though
