The plasticity of the faces is fantastic here, Gustavo, which automatically tells that your tonal management of lights to shadows transitions was perfect. The limitation of DoF onto the right face assists the strong depth. A very tangible image that invites for tactile examination of surfaces. Even the imperfections like scratches add to that.
But the scratches also seem to add to the reality of the image, as they reduce the level of perfection, introducing thus a more "down to earth" atmosphere far away from all artificial concept of "scarless purity". Which of course is always better when it comes to intentions about content and statement.
I am also impressed by the clear and smooth contours without any pixelation from oversharpening. This again goes hand on hand with the the already mentioned "reality" of the image. This kind of photo-realism mixed with a strong suggestive nature of content is quite successfully achieved here.

Gracias Luis!, me alegra mucho leete y sobre todo que te haya gustado la foto. Mmm, puse bastante cuidado en el rango tonal, en mi monitor me parece verlo bien, pucha, voy a revisar la calibración...los monitores si no están bien calibrados te pueden inducir algunos errores.
Y hablando de maniquíes, por favor me gustaría que veas mi último trabajo (lo acabo de postear) y me des tu opinión, yo estoy, en lo personal, muy conforme, y me gustaría, también (ja...ja...estoy pedigueño) que veas "Mujer Golpeada" que creo es el más logrado de los tres.

Mirá Gus...los ,maniquíes siempre fueron mi debilidad en la fotografía arte, he intentado incursionar por alli, pero mi habitual falta de tiempo me impiden llevar adelante un proyecto.- Me parece excelente la idea y la foto, sin perjuicio de criticar algunas luces medio bloqueadas o cuanto menos en el el de la izq. debieron setar en algunos tonos menores.- Tan buenas...Abrazos.- LUIS

I love the combination of the worn out mannequin and the nice virginal features of the other one. Excellent mono tones and wonderful vignettes in the corners to draw us in. The old model is talking to the other to get advice on how to get rid of her 'wrinkles' . The placement of these two figures is perfect and if they could talk they would exchange their secrets.
