Well now dear Ray... this HDR thing, to 'nutshell' it: - you make 3 photo's: 1 minus 2 exposure/ 1 correctly exposed and 1 plus 2 exposure... so you'll end up with 3 differently exposed shots of the (exact) same subject, so static is preferred for moving things will give you 'ghosts'. The underexposed one will bring out the sky instead of whiting it out... and the overexposed one will show you the details that are hiding in the shadows. So HDR is very effective when shooting in 'blazing' sunshine. Then the matter of actually joining these 3 shots... software my dear Ray, software... you can use Photoshop they have a plug-in (I stink at PS so I can't help you with that one) and there are also some 'stand alone' applications that do the trick for you... one of them is called Photomatix... Hope this was enough info for you... ;-DD
All four of your hospital shots are great and I am very intrigued by this HDR process. I have never tried it and wouldn't know how to start. When you get five spare moments give me a clue sweetie. This is an amazing modern hospital and I just love that circular settee, it would look great in the middle of our lounge . Lovely work as usual my dear Petal. A great big HUUUUUUUG and my very best wishes to you as always.....Ray
