Hi Pallab... no offense taken at all... I totally understand where you are coming from... since I was shooting shadows that day... I did not actually include the homeless person in the shots... altho now thinking back... I can see how that would have made a strong image as well... the concept that I was envisioning was an OASIS (which I thought the writing said, which is why I kept the colour) Not unlike in a desert... As they walk to find food they see in the distance a prospective cache of good things, while we see it as garbage ... I shot it keeping in mind their viewing perspective, when they walk down the alleys. I appreciate your comment... and hope that my description conveys what I was attempting to evoke emotionally. Excellent shot ...specially the zig zag patterned captured ....though the use of the colors adds a different dimension to the picture i personally feel that it is giving way to importance at a specific portion of the image ...specially the blue neon writing...You said in one of your post that you had to wait to get one homeless person out of the frame...I think you could have given that portion the same importance by using that person looking or searching for something in those boxes...I hope you also have some shots with that figure as well....Its just what i felt looking at your image .. I hope you are not offended by my comments..just sharing my thoughts with you ... a very good and powerful shot ..congrats..

Irena...thank you... it was a pretty powerful scene... I had to wait for a homeless person to leave the shot... almost like the dumpster, as sad as the the thought is, was an oasis of food for him.
