About I do not know what is the mother Day,and even I do not Know if it is this day or yesterday.
I have never celebrated this day, never thought of giving my mother a present in this day,it is just our very Mosul traditions.
But one thing I know for sure ,and that I love my mother, more even than myself, and my kids, and if she needs my soul ,I would be happy to present it as a gift, and I even then give her the very least of what she did to raise me,and I have never told her in my life that I love her,I do not know if it is my tough or feeling less heart.
I am certain that she knows that I love her like nothing else, and I know that she would sacrifice her life for any one of her kids of which I am the eldest.
I have read what Douglas replayed to Harry on his post today about this site being a hospital or an opera house and I denied that replay, all of it,even the the nice shot that he said ,is denied and refused by me ,this is our site where we share thoughts, feelings, ideas,by the means of photos, and treat each others as humans,it is not all about photos, and let all the photos goes to hells if we have to forget about our feelings, and forget about being humans, and that how we should treat each others.
for this I have remembered a hidden part of my humanity that I have never revealed, and I will shout it today very loud.

to the woman who brought me to this life, not because of her lust, but because of her duty as a house wife,
to the woman who fed me two years from her own blood in a poor house but from love and affection,
to the woman who changed my diapers for two years, wash them ,and reusing them,
to the woman whom the God put the heavens under her feet,
to my dearest mother and all other mothers every where,I shout we loves you.

OMG Saad - I thought your photography was amazing, and it totally IS... but what a beautiful "about", it shows that you are not only an amazing photographer, but your heart communicates what all of Gods in our Universe have tried to teach us for a Mellenia - love each other - appreciate each other - and the rest will take care of itself...
Thanks Saad... thanks...

These "special days" are created to make us feel guilty if we don't go out and spend some money (flowers, cards and candy). It works out fine for those particular industries. Be well my friend.

How beautiful words, dear Saad...
And the beautiful picture - I love its tones...

I was also surprised by Mother's Day, btw, because in Poland it's 26th May :P Not necessary Sunday :P I really don't know (shame on me) how about other countries, but we have also Father's Day, Grandma's and Grandpa's Days, Women's Day... I guess each one want his/her day ;)

My best wishes,
Ania

Your words and your sentiments are breathtakingly wonderful my dear Saad and the accompanying composition is very beautiful. I too condemn the SSman's wicked comments to our friend Harry and you are right it is good to share other things apart from our photgraphs. My own Mother died over 40 years ago and she is never far from my thoughts my dear Saad.
Mother's Day is a Christian thing and in the UK it is celebrated on a different Sunday to most other countries (trust us to be different ) It is also called Mothering Sunday in the UK when children in particular are asked to honour their Mothers. It is a wonderful tradition but in truth every day should be Mother's Day.
I love the shot with it's beautiful tones and excellent details but in particular I must thank you again my dear friend for sharing your most moving and highly emotive words with us. My very best wishes to you as always.......Ray

Dearest Saad,
I was very moved by your words and love for you Mother as well as our friend Harry. I too was hurt by the cruelty shown him by SSMan. Your depth of character speaks well of your parents and the person you have become. I have lost both of my parents but always feel the respect for all the sacrifices made by all parents everywhere. This is a beautiful capture and knowing the conditions you have had to endure only makes your words and capture even more meaningful. May God bless you and yours. I am proud to call you my friend.
Be well, Stan

Dear Saad,
Just after calling my mother living in The Netherlands and having a chat with her, I started looking at recent pictures and got attracted by your splendid flowers as my first picture. I saw it slowly appearing on my screen and thought it was so beautiful with vivid colours and great sharpness, then reading the about as the title emphasized. That also fully impressed me. I agree with you that our own mother deserve all the honour as you described so nicely. Mothers who gave birth to children mostly develop such a bond that they sacrifice all other if they had to prioritize. So these lucky children, first so depending, later on also should express their gratitude and not only at Mother' s day of course.
You did very well with a magnificent capture and equally strong motivation expressed in words,
much appreciated my friend,
Paul
