Well that makes it 12.29 pm then lol. Camera was on Au time and there is 2 hours plus 1 hour daylight saving time making total of 3 hours difference. :)) I should have changed it to nz time as M kept notes as to where we were and what time. If we look at the pic file, the times arnt matching up with what she wrote hahaha. Had a disagreement until i relised what was happenning lol. Im enjoying my Maccona Indulgence thanks :)) and Garlic bread :))

Hehehe, it was the morning buddy ;-) 9.29am actually ;-). Enjoy your coffee my friend. Yes I can see what you are talking about with the contrast, the atmosphere must have been nice and clean after storms up there. Talk to you later

No i didnt Dan. Couldnt afford it. Very expensive and we were going that way anyway in the car and a lot of the time we could see the rail so we saw the same stuff. Not sure if it was morning now. My camera was still set on Australian time so 3 hours difference at that date lol. I just blew this pic way up and cant see the sharpening problem. There is a big difference in qaulity between the one on here and the original. I didnt do much. Smoothed it out slightly in unsharp mask. Shoved the bottom slider across to smooth edges. Dynamic range was on 2 i think. Have to be careful with that sometimes. To look at the skyline with the naked eye worried me a bit at the time. There was so much contrast in the blue sky and the hills, it looked to sharp without taking a pic. In this pic, Margarets face looks a bit blurred. Maybe i should resize them in P/S and not in paint pro. Thanks Dan for your comments. Need a coffee now after all that writing lol. Cheers Buddy. Keith

Very nice weather over there. Did you go on the trans alpine train? next time you must it is a day trip from Christchurch to Greymouth and back to Christchurch, is classified as one of the top ten train rides in the world. And I must say it is amazing.
I had to cheat here ;-), very nice morning shot with nice long shadow. Maybe a tiny bit too much post process sharpening here, bringing a few artifacts. Just let the poor lady take her photograph ;-)
