i agree with you. i thought so while taking the photographs also. but the problem is I was on opposite footpath, used a 300 telephoto lens to capture this. When i was trying for bottom up approach from the other footpath, people were getting alert.

The perspective is slightly "look down" IMHO - I would have liked more a "bottom up" approach :-)

The background is black granite wall, in Istanbul old city. I was waiting to get two persons, walking away from each other, and no extra crowd.
