It's a very original portrait, Indranil, and that not only because of the undoubtfully good idea to keep only the butterfly in color. It is also so authentik because of the differences of focus and lighting itself. The face seems to be much softer, almost as if it was talen with one of those old soft focus lenses, and also darker, but still quite well perceptible in its plasticity. The butterfly looks quite the opposite way. This tension works greatly here.
It could have more contrast (attachment) but then this distinct light flies away and the authenticity of your interpretation gets weaker. So I prefer the way you did it, really. Very distinct work!

The father part is hard because you do feel the strain and tension of the anticipated moment of that great day. Last September I was fortunate to see my grandson born. My wife, 5 year grandson and my daughters husband were all there for the arrival of our latest grandson. Was so amazing and heartwarming to be a part of the new arrival. May your day be blessed as well when your child arrives. It will be a wonderful moment for you and your wife I am sure!!
