If you allow me, I have invited the UF staff to look at both our emotional pictures. It will be an honour if the best of us will be selected, the greatest honour if it will be you, abo saud.

Going to the dentist is anxiety provoking for the best of us, but having to hold a torch as well...the image is a fine depiction of two things, first, the seemingly unending resilience of human beings when placed in adverse circumstances and second, a reminder of the shame some of us should be showing for creating those circumstances in the first place. Regards, Gary

An excellent piece of photo journalism my friend and a grim reminder of the situation you live with. My heart cries out for your Nation and my fervent wish for normality to return to you is constantly made. Thank you for sharing this highly emotive image and story with us my dear Saad. In my heart and on my mind. My very best wishes to you as always......Ray

I am not making fun my friend... I am just saying. In Seatonville we have electricity and air-conditiong and digtal television in nearly every house. Again, this is a great photo to show students about what is going on around the world. If I may, I ask politely to use this photo to show my students about life around he world. jil

Wow, dentistry by torchlight! Hard to imagine. I hope the sufferings and privations of Iraq will soon be over!! And that your various peoples (Sunni, Shia, Kurd, Christian) can live in peace with each other...

Hi Saad, it is a hard reality you face without the power so many of us take for granted. Does the hospital have a generator or is it shared with others in the area? Good to see the bond and respect for your fellow doctors. Be well, Stan
