It has a stunning simplicity, Gustavo, both in geometry as also in textures as elements of generating a plasticity that is tangible. I could almost out my fingers in the sphere and follow its own curvature!
The repeatedly used pattern of texture surely does its job differently in the background "space" and on the surface of the "subject", the quarter of the sphere. It is the same, yet different through lighting and coloring.
The consistent color palette is another plus here. No superfluous hues, no deviations from the seense of the image. The oxide, the rust itself, made a small world of simple forms out of its complexitity of texture.
Good idea.

Great shot Gust@vo. I love the balance in this shot created by the composition and tight cropping. The lighting in this shot is also very good, and I think the brighter to darker graduations towards the top right are fantastic. The textures patterns and tones all look great in my opinion
