Da.. najbolji portreti se i dobiju tako.. s nekim tko ti je blizak, koga poznaš u dušu, i znaš kada je momenat za okinut i zabilježit svu silu emocija.. iako postwork i nije nešto zbog kose, meni se sam izraz lica jakoo sviđa...

Baš sam spremala neko predavanje za foto-klub, o portretima.. bit portreta i jeste da se iskažu emocije, stanje, raspoloženje.. a ne da bude samo obični škljoc sa aparatom.. a ti si na ovoj uspjela izraziti tu tugu...
ako smijem pitati, jel' to netko tebi blizak (otac?)...

Lijep portret... dobro stoji ova tamna pozadina (punoo bolje nego boce vina, i što je ono već prije bilo :-)) ali mogla bi i bolje (nekako mi kosa na lijevo fali?, hmm..
Ima lijepe, velike i plave oči, ali nekako mi tužan pogled... Baš volim portrete u kojima se osjeti emocije...

I am sending you version without post processing cause this is the only thing I do feel is not good on this portrait Avi ... everything else you feel not as spot on ... sorry, do not see it this way (i am sorry i was too lazy to answer you this way first time) ... thank you so very much for your feedback I ve always appreciated so much !!!
Do not stop ... we are here to change our thoughts among other things in other to learn, improve ext.
Light is not too bright, details are fine and skin tones are fine imho ... just take a look once again :-)

I see what you mean. It's tough, I agree.
Technically.. well, I have studied portraits for some time now, and feel that you really need a good (if possible) dedicated lens for portraits. plus the light has to be spot on (in this case a bit too bright). last but not the least, the post processing has to be better. see how the blackness of the background has invaded part of his hair on the left. plus the details could also be brought out more with burning. one thing is very good on this - that is the eyes. eyes almost always are very important for a portrait, as they establish the connection between the viewer and the person whose portrait it is. (sometimes even with the photographer) and you got that very well here.
but in the end, as I said, I am never too bothered with technicalities.. for me the emotion matters more, and this shot has it.

Do not have to correct you, this shot (portrait) was "pure robbery" again cause my hubby thinks he is not photogenic ... yeah Avi, taken by surprise again ... there is no way to speak with him on this theme as you recommended me before, he is so stubborn :-) And I do use all my endearment for him by your advice but it seems I have to be only so very "sneaky" with him when the case is about his portraits ;-) lol

I think the title fits perfectly here sweet angel. There is a lot of emotion in this man's expression and those lovely lyrics go hand in glove with the composition. The details are excellent and the tones wonderful. This is another extremely good portrait study my lovely girl.
