Thanks Dan, I had wanted to get a picture of this tree for a while. This day I left a little early and the afternoon sun was really bringing the color out, caught it right. Thanks for the comment, glad you liked the colors too!!

Wow, the colour in that trunk in the foreground is stunning. I also love the background colours as a strong contrast to the trunk, really bringing it to life. Great work my friend

Hi Ray, yes this tree has been dead for quite a few years. The limbs have fallen off from wind and time. I was in love with the carmel and gold colors from its exposure to the elements and sun.

It does stand out from the rest in the shot Stan and it does reveal it's colours and details very well. Is this a dead tree or one that has been trimmed ready for felling? It sure looks ready to resume existance as a telegraph pole. Lovely tones throughout my friend and a wonderful find on your forest excursion. All the best Stan.......Ray

Thanks Shirley, this was a roadside attraction for me. The little things in life sometimes amaze me with their beauty. This dead tree was one of those.

Thanks Ania, when I came around the corner of the access road of my job this tree was incredible in it;s color. The sun was just right and the sky was so intense. Made a wonderful contrast. Thanks for your comment my friend.
