I actually prefer the crop over the full length shot in this case, the framing of the full length, is a bit tight to the foot, though if you think about what i've done and added more canvas (very rough as I don't have the BG as a shot) it makes the full length shot more interesting IMO

BTW, my soft box was up high and I had her point her face square into it, and then look right at it. That accomplished two things: no shadows on her face, and the catch-lights are centered in her eyes. ;)
