The smooth contours surely fit the distinct and consistent color palette, Jacques, and also the curves and shapes. It is to me rather an abstraction than a floral, though, which of course says only something about "classification" and not about quality. For a floral I would expect more sharp details but you went the opposite way here and enhanced rather the smoothness and the soft contours than the details.
